Reviews and Ratings
Our stay at the resort was quite a mixed bag. The newly renovated rooms were stunning and brought an upscale feel to our visit. However, the noise from ongoing construction early in the morning was quite disruptive, which was not ideal. Despite that, the easy boat access to Disney Springs was a major highlight for our family, making dining and shopping a breeze.
Old Key West Resort offers a spacious experience with a laid-back vibe, ideal for family bonding. The rooms are well-equipped, making it easy to unwind after a day at the parks. However, the spread-out layout can require a lot of walking, and some amenities feel a bit lackluster. Dining options are delightful, particularly at Olivia's Cafe, adding to the enjoyable vacation atmosphere.
The hotel offers beautiful grounds and a variety of recreational activities, making it a pleasant place to stay. However, the noise from the nearby road was a downside for us, along with some cleanliness issues in the communal areas. The dining at Olivia's was excellent, and the water taxi to Disney Springs added to the convenience of our stay.
Staying at Old Key West Resort felt like home away from home, especially after busy days at Disney Parks. The rooms were spacious and clean, offering a nice retreat with a relaxed vibe. However, the kitchen amenities could use an upgrade, as some utensils were on the lower side of quality. Also, the main pool's late opening was a bit inconvenient, but overall, it’s a wonderful spot for families.
My family and I had a wonderful time at Old Key West, enjoying the spacious accommodations and laid-back atmosphere. The pool activities were a hit with the kids, and the access to Disney Springs by boat made our dining outings easy and fun. However, the housekeeping service was a bit lacking during our stay, and we wished the pool could have been open later for evening swims.
